Right now.

90 million people around the world are victims of forced separations, human trafficking, and forced displacement

The victims of these social injustices are often faceless, ashamed, and living in the shadows. At the same time, mental health care providers are practicing traditional methods of care and need access to the break-through tools and techniques to more effectively treat these populations.

Who we are

Backed by over 15 years of hands-on clinical practice serving survivors of social injustice, our unique approach to mental health has touched the lives of thousands of people around the world lead to help them lead healthy, fulfilling, and productive lives. Our specialized work in this area has informed policy decisions with the UN Refugee Agency, UNICEF, and other global organizations fighting tirelessly against human trafficking, forced migration, and global violence.

We help service providers and agencies take a different approach to mental health care.

We provide mental health training, research, clinical support, and advisory support to service providers and agencies who serve survivors of violence, trauma, and other social injustices. Our trauma-informed, resiliency-based approach to collaborative care models equip our clients to be more effective in treating patients, building care programs, and informing policies.

With deep roots in international research and extensive experience working with youth in conflict zones, we have seen, first-hand, how violence and trauma impacts the physical, psychological, and emotional state of survivors. Combined with years of clinical practice, we have a unique perspective in combining the theory and practice of mental health: resulting in modern tools, technologies, and intervention frameworks we believe can make a difference in our clients and the communities they serve.

We work with local, state, federal, and international organizations to inform and educate through our programs. Previous partners include: The US Department of State, UNICEF, George Washington University, the UN Refugee Agency, and others.
